As a baby, our first love would be our Mother & Father. By the age of four, once we enter school the admiration moves to the teachers. As teenagers the idol worship moves to many seniors & elders. As we mature the love, the admiration, the worship, the devotion moves to a person(s) who guide us and show the right path in our life. In the spiritual world we call them Guru and believe they uplift the purpose of our life to achieve the ultimate goal of Bhakti to the supreme power.
It's pure luck and poorva janma sukrutam to get the right Guru at right time. Once we get, we are at loss on how to reciprocate the love, dedication and admiration. Though the Gurus always teach with with a selfless motive and expect nothing in return, we cannot at times resist showing our love and affection to them. What do we offer them ??
Our Bhagavatham student Meenakshy Varadarajan Mami has composed a beautiful song, tuned it and sung as a lovely offering to the Gurus Smt. Sethulakshmi Mami & Sri. Ranganathan Mama, which is converted as a video with few clips. Please do listen till the end.
A young talented shishya Apoorva hand-painted a glass painting of Lord Guruvayoorappa as a gift which is added to the video.
May Lord continue to bless all of us to be in the Satsangs and give Ayur Arogya Sowkhyam to learn from our Gurus who are doing this noble activity only to keep our culture and traditions alive, pass it on to as many Bhakthas as possible, with a niswartha bhavam , expecting nothing in return.
