Why Chant Nama ?

Kali Yuga Dharma prescribes “NAMA SANKEERTHANAM” as the only and simple way of attaining Bhagawan’s bliss / blessings.

The One and Only medicine to destroy all sins and their ‘vasanas’ gathered over a number of births is the chanting of Bhagawan NAMA. This does not mean one can knowingly commit sins thinking that they can be easily wiped off afterwards by chanting Bhagawan NAMA. Such an attitude towards divine NAMA is known as NAMA 'Aparadha'.

NAMA chanting is very easy as it does not require any code of conduct to be adhered to while chanting, whereas for the other modes of Prayers such as “Yagam” or “Yagnam”, it is mandatory to adhere to certain strict conditions or stipulations as prescribed in the Dharma Sastra.

No expertise is required to chant Bhagawan Nama. You need not know the meaning of the NAMA. Ucharana Shudhi (Perfect Pronunciation) of NAMA is not expected by the Lord. HE is seeing only the intention of the devotee while chanting HIS name- the NAMA.

A potent medicine even if taken by chance is sure to produce its salutary effect though one is unaware of its efficacy. So does the Lords name – Reveal its efficacy in wiping out sins even in the case of one who utters it without knowing its power.

"अन्ते नारायण स्मृति"

One has to remember GOD when one is in his death-bed. How can this happen ?

Either Poorva Janma Vasana or Practice NAMA Sankeerthanam from Childhood itself. Classic examples from Srimad Bhagavatham are 'Dhruva' & 'Prahlada'.

CHANT NAMA EACH DAY EVERY DAY
